Question almost asthma?
I have had asthma for roughly 30 years now i am 49,My question is if you own asthma and had a lung transplant(I don't need a lung transplant), would you no longer enjoy asthma? Is asthma from having bad lungs or does something within your body cause your lungs to be bad. Just wondering.
"> A lung transplant won't cure asthma and can potentially take home your health worse. You'd have the double whammy of asthma, plus have to take anti-rejection drugs the rest of your life.
Asthma is a response to a condition, any low level infection, allergens or other triggers. You are still going to have duplicate triggers that you had before, so the lungs are going to respond contained by the same way.

Good sound out. It's the receptor sites within the lungs which cause the hypereactivity so a lung transplant should do the trick.
